Add A 100 Word Rebuttal to Get Rid of Negative Marks
Many credit advice websites and guides recommend that you take advantage of the loophole in the FICO process that allows you to add a 100-word statement to your file that can explain away a mistake or comment on the report.
Unfortunately doing this does not d much as it is not read as part of the traditional FICO scoring formulae. The credit score itself is calculated on items on your credit report that are coded and these 100 word statements are not coded at all.
Ultimately no matter what you write on your credit report it will have absolutely no hard positive effect on your credit score.
