Can blocking on my credit card hurt my credit rating?
Blocking only becomes a problem if you rent a car or hotel room and then find that the blocking charges that are run up on it are so high that your card is nearly maxed out. This could inform the credit bureaus that you are near to maxing out (being close to your limit) and cause a negative comment on your credit score.
