Opt-Out Request Line
If you don’t want to receive pre-approved credit card offers, all you need to do is make a single telephone call to the Opt Out Request Line at 1-888-567-8688 and request that your name be removed from the mailing lists of the three major credit reporting bureaus: Equifax, Experian and Transunion.
This not only lessens your junk mail but it will also lessen your chances of becoming a victim of identity theft.
