Due Date
The Due Date is a term in your terms and conditions of use of the credit card to describe the day on which you must pay your bills. Usually this date is on the first of the month or the fifteenth.
Few people realize this but it is possible to call a credit card company and ask if your credit card due date can be shifted if you find yourself paying too many bills around the first of the month. All you have to do is just ask them to change the due date by phone call or letter.
However if you do decide to have a credit card company change your due date keep in mind that it can take a couple of months before the due date change is fully implemented and that by not knowing this you could hurt your credit rating by paying bills on the wrong date. It is important to make sure that your bill is paid promptly when it is due as otherwise you could find yourself paying a late fee.
